While not a regular Jeopardy viewed, it was hard to miss the various stories of total robot domination by IBM’s Watson. I even made the same remark to Releshes via email regarding our new robot overlords, that Ken Jennings clearly stole from me as opposed to the other way around. In thinking through the implications of this computerized massacre and what it means for the future of Jeopardy, todays comic presented itself as the most likely outcome.
Sitting here watching yet another apocalyptic snow related news report and I can’t help but wonder what comic possibilities that presents. Probably a lot – but then, I’m not sure I could stomach creating it given that I am already tired of the over-exposure even the slightest possibility if snow receives by the local DC media. Who knows, maybe something hilarious enough will over-shadow the impending sense of beating a dead horse.
