I know January doesn’t seem like that long ago, but in this fast-paced, here today gone tomorrow world we live in January 15th was like, ages ago.  You might recall that on that day, our first comic was posted. The world bubbles were never meant to be a long term solution (and thank goodness they weren’t) but merely a vehicle in which to drive forward some sort of progress in getting this beast a movin.’

For today’s entry into the annuls of Blomiclum history, that original comic has been re-imagined with, you might have guessed it, an actual comic.

I participated in a phone + text + web product review/advice situation today and on the one hand it was kind of fun and on the other hand it re-affirmed my belief that I should not be trusted in such situations.  The person on the other end of the phone was in desperate need of both hardcore information (they don’t have their own smart phone, can you believe it!?) as well as advice parsing aforementioned data. Mind you, this wasn’t for any run of the mill purchase, no no, it was for a TV – a large and expensive one at that.  As I googled to and fro, gathering the necessary tidbits required for comparison, I thought to myself, “I could say anything, and by the time they realize I’ve led them astray, it would be too late, muwhahahahahah.”

Maybe that makes me terrible, you know, on the inside.  I prefer to think of it as ‘keeping things interesting’ or ‘mixing it up.’  In the end, I yielded to that little voice (tiny and mostly insignificant) that reminded me this was one of my best friends and I should probably pick the best TV.  This time, anyway, the story has a happy ending.  This time…
