When first presented with the concept of premium doggy day-care, I thought to myself, “This is the greatest invention known to man.”  Dogs were well vetted, assured to be disease and behavioral problem free – essentially perfect in every way.  Then I went through the “evaluation process,” which was really just a visual inspection of my wallet and assorted credit cards. Suffice it to say, I now know the truth – that this entire concept is a giant scam. Oh well – when I accepted that I was becoming a dog person (much to my chagrin), I also accepted that I would also be poor. And so it begins…

Ah gaming – so much going on and so much to be excited about post-PAX.  It is too bad these movie-based games always turn out so poorly. I am a huge fan of the Transformers, in all of their many forms, but this preview from Joystiq did little to disuade my thought that the next installment will be just as crappy as the rest.

Due to all of the travel lately, my most recent pleasant gaming experience has been with Battleheart. As far as mobile gaming is concerned, this game is great.  It pretty much has it all – a kitchy little story, character development, fun point & click real time battles with various special abilities, and so on. Fixing for a mobile RPG/RTS combo style game? Check it out, its worth the $2.99*.

* For the record, I did not receive any sort of compensation for this endorsement.  If someone is interested in sending me a bag full of cash (you know, the one with the $ signs on it) just let me know and Ill send you my address…
