It isn’t often that we have conversations like this, but when we do, their spontaneity and sheer absurdity astound us when we are finished. But when we are in the groove, in the moment of that conversation – all is right with the world and no matter how ridiculous, in our minds, we are speaking truth.
I hope you realize by now that we are all, the three of us, completely insane. Just wanted to clarify that.
Last night I went to see the Blue Man group. I had been before, in fact, I saw them in their native habitat (Las Vegas) – but never before had my seats been so close to the stage that we were required to wear ponchos. Imagine my surprise, when entering the theater ready for an evening of wonderful entertainment and I was greeted with a giant sheet of plastic with oddly shaped slots of head, hands and arms. It was all good though – there wasn’t too much splash-age and the show was just as fantastic as I remembered it.
Pokemon sales figures as presented here astound me to no end. I imagine it is due to the fact that I simply never found the game appealing in any way, shape or form. But everyone else is jumping on the bandwagon these days, so I feel like maybe I should too. Maybe. But then there are all these weird choices to make, like Black vs. White – why can’t it be like an oreo where you get the best of both worlds…?
