More or less, this sorta kinda happened. Maybe not the wonderous fantasy part where Releshes delivers a well constructed FU to his insurance company – but the part where he gets royally screwed for no apparent reason is pretty spot on.

Alas, we were not able to make it to the San Diego Comic Con – but there is a 93.24% chance we will be there next year. Something that caught my eye: these new screens from Soul Calibur V look pretty fantastic. See for yourself!

How a pirate ruined my car

Ok – so maybe this isn’t exactly what happened, BUT, I did back my car up into a pole. In my defense, I was using the back-up camera, which I now know gives you a very false sense of security and absolutely no visibility on the side of the vehicle. Also, there is CLEARLY  design flaw in the parking garage that contributed to this incident. Clearly.

Sans our parentheses addition, this was an actual news article title on ABC news (see it here). Since we couldn’t be there for this…wondrous event (and we can only assume you missed it, as well) we decided to depict these randy turtle in comic form. As Mike so eloquently put it, “So, drawing a turtle’s ‘O Face’ was weirder than I thought it would be.” I couldn’t agree more, Mike, I couldn’t agree more.

How Daniel Radcliffe’s drinking problem affected the final Harry Potter movie

So, apparently even some of Daniel Radcliffe’s closets friends claim they didn’t know he had a drinking problem. I don’t really buy it; there’s no way you spend that much time together with someone and not know. We thought – well how might this affect the final movie, and today’s comic provides a very plausible possibility. The main point here, though, is that I don’t really care (about the drinking). Do you? I didn’t think so. Let’s move on.

I saw this article today on 10 clever indie games ready to shine at PAX – and as a PAX fan, I thought I would point it out. There’s some good stuff on the way!

Oh, and speaking of good reads, this article (entitled How Digital Detectives Deciphered Stuxnet, also from Wired) was absolutely riveting. I highly suggest you read it. It was like being in a movie, except you’re reading it!
