In more unfortunate news, id software’s Rage has been delayed. The graphically impressive shooter was originally slated for release on September 13, but has now been pushed back to October 4.
Rumors are floating around that Microsoft will unveil a successor to the Xbox 360 sometime in 2012. Although nothing has been confirmed, a “high-ranking industry source at Crytek,” made the initial reports.
CEO of Nintendo, Satoru Iwata, admitted that the Wii U’s announcement could have been handled better. There was some confusion as to whether the Wii U was in fact a new console or just a new controller for the Wii, as well as some confusion as to whether or not the Wii U also works as a stand-alone portable device.
